‘Herman Cain Pac’ and low-class warfare

Don’t you think it’s a good idea to call someone an ‘ugly bitch’? I do. It’s a smooth move. And it reflects well upon your candidate:

No, it’s not a hoax, I checked.

ADD: Good job by the DailyKos people, but it’s not a hoax because this isn’t a PAC. It’s a ‘PAC.’ As ‘bunker’ sites and ‘headquarters’ pages are not actually caves or buildings, this is an aggregator site for pro-Cain posts and media run by a fan(s). If anyone mistakenly believed Herman Cain himself were behind the post (really?), I apologize for that.

This is a post collected and then re-posted on the site. Original poster MP traces back to his MofoPolitics site, a real Conservative politics site, ads and all. Here’s the original post. Here’s MP’s Twitter page, with 13,000 plus tweets. I checked on MP’s site and saw the OP and other posts going back a year and noted his penchant for ‘eww gross’-ing on liberal women, so I posted the image. Unless the Herman Cain Pac site was specifically and only put up to bury an obnoxious post by a real person on page two of the site, this is exactly what it always appeared to be: the misogynist graffiti of Cain fans.

Conservatives have nothing but identity politics. Despite all the bluster, despite all the claims that Frankly, Newt Gingrich is super smart, everything for the Right boils down to whether or not someone has got the correct look to them.

Their theme song shoudl be She’s Got the Look by Roxette, but that’s an insult to Roxette.

Eternal Vigiliance against Conservativism is still required…

Some apology. Even if your readers are as exquisitely aware as you are of the differences between a ‘PAC’ and a PAC, perhaps you haven’t noticed that your original headline used Herman Cain PAC, not Herman Cain ‘PAC’! So how could they NOT think it was the official Herman Cain PAC site? Repeating and commenting on this scurrilous piece was character assassination far worse than anything the “accusers” have done. Kudos to Daily Kos, who, while having no love for Cain, took the time to be concerned about repeating unfounded allegations.

No problem, Greg: if anyone, in any way, thought a Herman Cain political action committee produced that post, I apologize for the misapprehension. I’m not, however, sorry for pointing out two different websites featured this crap, and I’m not apologizing to any of the 1,225 people who ‘Facebook like’d it.

Thank you for the concern for my readers. If you swing on by another time, how about condemning the nastiness and hatred that created all the attention? Which is the only reason you’re here?

Gene: right you are — it’s about the way things appear with them, as always. They’re much more satisfied with snapshots of reality than reality itself. Kind of like the way Greg worries about the way I treat people.
