Friend of the blog Roofa Mitsu Faraferu asks:
Yeah, who was the guy that said the same kind of things about the Virginia Tech shootings? That guy was even more revealing because one look at him and you realize he’d be the first person to come out with: “…please, I’ll suck your…”
Classic right-wing lack of empathy and projection.
You don’t mean John Derbyshire?
As NRO’s designated chickenhawk, let me be the one to ask: Where was the spirit of self-defense here? Setting aside the ludicrous campus ban on licensed conceals, why didn’t anyone rush the guy?
No, no. You mean the great Nathanael Blake:
College classrooms have scads of young men who are at their physical peak, and none of them seems to have done anything beyond ducking, running, and holding doors shut . .
Something is clearly wrong with the men in our culture. Among the first rules of manliness are fighting bad guys and protecting others: in a word, courage. And not a one of the healthy young fellows in the classrooms seems to have done that.
Good memory Roofa. That blog post was titled “Where Are The Men?” Given Nathanael’s muscle-bound conservatism, you’ll find it puzzling that some time after the Virginia Tech massacre but before Sandy Hook the Human Events staff disappeared his indictment from the internet. Something must have been misspelled. As for the McArdles and Allens, don’t you worry. They get paid to act shitty, meaning their epic stupidity is timeless.
As for an image of Nathan The Destroyer . .
. . here it is. Doesn’t look like the guy who rushes headlong at Barking Colonel Lorazepam with his AR-15. Looks like the guy who needs an ‘attaboy’ to tackle his acne.
