Sie fanden sich bald in guter Gesellschaft wieder, als sie 2017 ihr internationales Grand Prix Debüt hatten. Beim Weltcup in Herning feierten sie einen Doppelerfolg im Oktober 2019. - Er ist immer sehr charmant und manchmal etwas frech, aber er ist bei einem, wenn es darauf ankommt”, sagt Daniel. ”Er ist sehr lebhaft, aber ist trotzdem ein unbeschreiblich liebes Pferd und im täglichen Training tendiere ich dazu, zu vergessen, dass er eigentlich ein Deckhengst ist. Er bringt für die Arbeit eine natürliche Geschmeidigkeit und Sanftmut mit. Blue Hors Reiterin Agnete Kirk Thinggaard übernahm Blue Hors Don Olymbrio gegen Ende 2019 und sie hat hohe Erwartungen an die Zusammenarbeit mit ihm. „ - Ich bin sehr dankbar dafür, die Möglichkeit zu haben, Don Olymbrio zu reiten und ich spüre, dass es gut passt“, sagt Agnete. „Er ist total lieb und anhänglich. Wir arbeiten sehr gut zusammen, sodass ich mit ihm meinen Traum von Olympia verfolgen kann. Leistungspedigree Der Großvater Ferro hat selbst 2000, mit Coby van Baalen im Sattel, die olympische Silbermedaille für Mannschaften errungen. Er ist außerdem Vater von bedeutenden holländischen Hengsten, wie u.a. die Söhne Rousseau, Metall, Rhodium und Special D. Ferro lieferte, genau wie Jazz, viele erfolgreiche Dressurpferde. Seine Nachkommen zeichnen sich durch große Versammlungsbereitschaft aus, eine sehr wichtige Eigenschaft für ein Dressurpferd. Don Olymbrio stammt aus einer der erfolgreichsten, niederländischen Stutenlinien (Familie 145), die auch den Rubinstein-Sohn OO Seven und Edward Gal’s Grand Prix-Pferd Voice von De Niro hervorbrachte, die gemeinsam mehrere Siege und Platzierungen im Grand Prix erreichten. Das Paar hat u.a. die World Cup-Qualifikation 2015 in Odense gewonnen. Darüber hinaus stammen die Grand-Prix- Pferde Celiton, Kadans und Olympia Babria,, der unter Tineke Bartels Team-Silber bei den Olympischen Spielen in Atlanta im Jahr 1996 gewann, aus diesem Stamm. In 2019, Don Olymbrio crossed the magical 80% at both World Cup Amsterdam, Herning Horseshow, World Cup 's-Hertogenbosch, the five-star CHIO competition in Aachen and at World Cup Herning, where it turned into a double victory. Don O's talent for the difficult exercises is not inherited from strangers - both his sire Jazz, and grand sire, Ferro, have competed at the highest level, representing the Netherlands at the World Championships in dressage. Sire Jazz dominated the WBFSH-ranking for dressage sires for many years. Jazz is probably the most influential Dutch breeding stallion of the past 25-30 years. He has sired a large number of licensed sons and elite mares, but the number of horses in the topsport is what makes him particularly valuable in the breeding of riding horses. These offspring includes horses as Olympic participant Parzival (ridden Adelinde Cornelissen, Nartan (ridden by Jeannette Haazen) and the winner of WBCYH for 6-year-olds in 2010, Westpoint - all Jazz-offspring who have proven their father's worth as breeding stallion Don Olymbrio's grandfather, the Performance Test-winner Ferro, was a stallion of good character and a powerful hind leg movement. Grand sire Ferro and his rider Coby van Baalen won team silver at the Olympic Games in 2000 and Ferro has founded his own stallion-line in the Netherlands, which has given the world stallions like Rousseau, Metall, Rhodium and Special D. Like Jazz, Ferro has produced many successful dressage horses. His offspring are characterized by a convincing ability to collect, which is a very important quality for a dressage horse. It is i.a. these famous sons and Ferro's 11 KWPN approved grandsons who have contributed to his title as "Preferent", which is one of the finest predicates a Dutch breeding stallion can achieve! Don Olymbrio originates from one of the most successful Dutch dam lines (Family 145), which has also given the Rubinstein-son OO Seven and Edward Gal's Grand Prix horse Voice, which has taken several Grand Prix victories and placings.
