“Chipper” is a handsome, 4 year old Gypsy cross pony gelding standing 11.1 hands. He’s uniquely colored, almost a silver dapple. He has that coveted Gypsy flair with lots of mane and feathered feet. He turns heads everywhere he goes!
Chipper is the definition of bomb proof, nothing fazes him- he is 100% safe for anybody. Chipper has seen it all- flags, flapping tarps, cars, tractors, creeks, logs, bicycles, you name it. Chipper is ready to conquer any obstacle you may encounter; we’ve rode him through our obstacle course on a nice loose rein. He has been ridden out on trails in big groups or alone and in the arena, he’ll pack a rider wherever they point him. He is a levelheaded, well-mannered gelding!
He rides around like an absolute dream. Chipper is well broke with lots of buttons and a fancy handle. He neck reins, collects up, moves off of leg pressure and picks up all gaits. He knows his leads, side passes and stops on a dime. He will ride bareback, western or English and has been taken over jumps- he even has the flying lead change!
Chipper has the experience and knowledge to keep the greenest young riders safe, he is well equipped to handle any shenanigans thrown his way. There isn’t much this guy CAN’T do! He rides bareback, English, western and has even been taken over jumps.
In addition, he is an awesome cart horse! Chipper is 100% traffic safe and easy to hook/drive. We’ve driven Chipper to town and down busy roads regularly. He is a very confident young horse.
Chipper is a barn favorite; he loves attention and has the best personality. He is kind, friendly and easy to get along with. Chipper loves to be groomed and enjoys spending time with people. He is respectfully in your pocket and very easy to catch. He’ll stand quietly to be saddled, is easy to bridle and stands perfectly still to be mounted. He will not walk off or rush you to get on, he is extremely patient and is happy to wait. If you can’t reach the stirrup, you can just lay him down to get on! Chipper clips, ties & loads like a gentleman.
