Several of the heavily-armed “Border Guards,” were at the camp late Saturday night at Hance Park, and were no comfort to Native Americans and others in the movement.

The online Downtown Devil reported at 10 pm, “At least three members of the Arizona Border Guard are still present with sidearms and one has donned a gas mask and a ballistic helmet.”

Neo-Nazi J.T. Ready shot and killed four people yesterday at the Gilbert, Arizona, home where he lived. Ready later killed himself.

A border militia leader on Wednesday shot and killed four people at a Gilbert home, including a toddler, before committing suicide, sources said.

Sources identified the shooter as Jason “J.T.” Ready, a reputed neo-Nazi who made headlines when he launched a militia movement to patrol the Arizona desert to hunt for illegal immigrants and drug smugglers.

Though a white supremacist, Ready was a familiar face to Arizonans who followed local politics. He was a friend and political ally of former Arizona Senate President and Tea Party leader Russell Pearce, the architect of the state’s controversial anti-immigrant S.B. 1070 law.

Pearce endorsed Ready for Mesa City Council in 2006 and appeared with him at several rallies. In 2004 Pearce was photographed attending J.T Ready’s baptism into the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Church documents reveal that Pearce ordained J.T. Ready into the LDS priesthood. Pearce has since claimed he was unaware of Ready’s neo-Nazi affiliations at the time he made the endorsement.

Ready lived at the residence where the shooting took place. He was believed to be living with his girlfriend, a victim of the shooting, Lisa Mederos.

Authorities have not identified the other victims, but reached by phone Wednesday afternoon, Hugo Mederos said the victims were his ex-wife, Lisa; their daughter, Amber; Amber’s boyfriend, whose name The Republic is withholding until his next of kin could be notified, and Amber’s 18-month-old baby, Lilly.

Mederos, who lives in Tampa, said Ready lived at the home with his girlfriend, Lisa.

Ready was a former Marine who headed the U.S. Border Guard, a militia-style group that routinely performed armed patrols in the southern Arizona desert. Early this year, Ready had formed an exploratory committee for a run as Pinal County sheriff.

In a statement of organization filed Jan. 11, Amber Mederos was listed as treasurer of the Committee to Elect J.T. Ready. Her name was nowhere to be found in amended paperwork filed March 12.

Ready recently formed the “U.S. Border Guard,” an anti-immigrant militia. The group sometimes roamed the desert at night looking for suspected illegal immigrants attempting to enter the state.

As the self-proclaimed “Tea Party President,” Pearce’s national role as the figurehead for punitive immigration measures also turned the recall election into a referendum on the state’s notorious SB 1070 “papers, please” immigration law, which Pearce had made the hallmark of his legislative career.

. . Only a year ago, Pearce’s ascendancy to the Senate president post was hailed by many as a watershed moment for the Tea Party movement. Within days of his reign, Pearce and his Tea Party legislators introduced a flurry of radical bills, including an effort to “nullify” federal laws.

“This election sends a message to other Democratic efforts,” said Dan O’Neal, with the Arizona chapter of the Progressive Democrats of America, “to not be afraid to take on issues and races in red states.”

This was, by far, the most powerful Tea Party person in all the Western U.S.. This is like the Progressive movement losing Alan Grayson. Bigger. Now Grayson’s coming back, and Pearce is gone. Beautiful.

You don’t come across open, screeching racism like this very often. Especially outside of places like Stormfront or other white supremacist sites, you won’t see it much.

But we should get used to seeing it increasingly with Tea Party types. They’re less and less concerned with government over-spending and more and more concerned with American under-whiting.

What has happened to our country? How did this situation begin?

It all began when then Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy heavily supported the abolition of the National Origins Formula, in place since the Immigration Act of 1924, to replace it with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

WOW. When was the last time I heard talk of the “National Origins Formula”? Uh, let’s see . . *clackety* and/or *clickety* . . oh yeah, here it is. Well, that’s about two molecules and a quark from whites-only nationalism.

With immigration capped at a fixed yearly number, the NOF in 1924 portioned admittance based on the existing ratios of citizens’ national origins as determined by the census of 1920. For instance, after the potato famine, the Irish had emigrated and thrived for 70 years. If 15% of the American people in 1920 could trace their roots back to Ireland, a potential Irish immigrant had a humongous chance (open slots numbering 15% of the cap, I assume) of getting in. OTOH, if you were from, say Kenya, good luck.

The purpose of the NOF was to keep America looking exactly like it looked in 1920. White. Specifically: Northern and Western European White, to the exclusion of the Southern and Eastern Europeans, Brown Central and South Americans, Black Africans and ‘Orientals.’ The immigration reform act of 1952 re-affirmed the pro-white NOF policy, as the author of the bill lobbied for here:

“I believe that this nation is the last hope of Western civilization and if this oasis of the world shall be overrun, perverted, contaminated or destroyed, then the last flickering light of humanity will be extinguished… Today, as never before, untold millions are storming our gates for admission and those gates are cracking under the strain. The solution of the problems of Europe and Asia will not come through a transplanting of those problems en masse to the United States… I do not intend to become prophetic, but if the enemies of this legislation succeed in riddling it to pieces, or in amending it beyond recognition, they will have contributed more to promote this nation’s downfall than any other group since we achieved our independence as a nation.”

Despite assurances by the Kennedys that the immigration reform they were pressing for, would not upset America’s ethnical balance: “It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs…,” it ended up altering the immigration pattern and opening doors to non-European nations, thus changing forever the intrinsic tissue of American society.

In the speech, where he denounced the federal government’s efforts to stop the implementation of the state’s radical anti-immigrant law, Pearce claimed that Americans aren’t even citizens of the United States, that they are rather citizens of “sovereign states,” meaning that we should be loyal to the laws of individual states rather than the federal government:

PEARCE: “U.S. history, most of us weren’t around when the Constitution was written. But you remember we kind of existed before Congress, the states? We created the Con- gress, we created the federal government, by compact? Do you know, you’re not a citizen of the United States? You’re a citizen of a sovereign state. The fifty sovereign states make up the United States, we’re citizens of those sovereign states. It is not a delegated authority. It’s an inherent authority that states have over the federal government. It’s about time somebody gets it right!”

Yes, it’s about time! So, let’s ask that person. Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome Mr. Constitution:

“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the constitution or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding.”

How the hell does a guy like Russell Pearce end up as President of the Arizona Senate? We’re not just trifling with a mere piece of paper: it’s our founding document. Adopted a helluva long time ago — like 1788. So, it counts.

But why would the people of Arizona choose someone so stupid? It’s not like Pearce hasn’t been stupid before. In 2006, he copy/pasted and e-mailed some of his favorite internet postings to his supporters. When they got a load of it . .

Ready’s a supporter of Pearce, and at a June anti-immigration rally at the State Capitol, the prejudiced pair spent almost all of their time with each other. They even appeared smiling and arm-in-arm in photos.

In 2008, Pearce sponsored Senate Bill 1108 “that would prohibit students of Arizona universities and community colleges from forming groups based in whole or part on the race of their membership.” It would have illegalized groups like Native Americans United and the Black Business Students Association.

And in 2010, the biggie: it was Pearce who drafted and sponsored Arizona’s infamous S.B. 1070. Ooooohhh yeah. That’s how he got to be President of the Arizona Senate. So now, he’s a powerful man.

One powerful, stupid man. After the Tucson spree-shooting of 19 people, including Democratic Representative Gabrielle Giffords, Arizona’s House and Governor made accommodations for people to mourn. But the Senate?

. . the Arizona Senate, under the leadership of Pearce, never adjourned. Pearce told The Arizona Republic, “We have a constitutional obligation to wrap up business in 100 days.” The Arizona Constitution contains no such limitation on the length of regular sessions of the Arizona Legislature.

They are just . . SUCKERS. Like our writer and foil, Alan Caruba. And doesn’t he know it well? It’s easy pickings for the likes of him when your readers are all Black Cloud Christians.

Well, you might go straight to the legendary, premiere White supremacy website on the planet, Stormfront.org, and you might ask: “On planet Earth, who are the White people?” And (just trust me) they will tell you: “That would be European Christendom and their obvious descendants.” [note: that is a hilariously long thread, what with everybody being an expert on the genetics and ancestry of every group of peoples ever in existence]

Florida’s Arizona-Style Immigration Bill Would Give Canadians, Europeans a Free Pass

​Florida state Rep. William Snyder, the slow-drawling ex-Miami-Dade Police officer who has drafted Tallahassee’s version of the hotly debated Arizona immigration bill, is adamant that his law would not lead to racial profiling.

“Race, ethnicity, and national origin cannot be used in making arrests. It’s immoral, illegal, and unconstitutional,” he said in a recent radio interview.

Well, then roll the bill in gator crap and call it all of that:

So why does his bill explicitly offer a free pass to Canadians and Western Europeans, who need only show a passport to be “presumed to be legally in the United States”? . .

Even if an officer has “reasonable suspicions” over a person’s immigration status, the bill says, a person will be “presumed to be legally in the United States” if he or she provides “a Canadian passport” or a passport from any “visa waiver country.”

Yes, why does this ‘tough’ bill allow all those White people off the hook? Is it because they’re . . White?

“What we’re doing there is trying to be sensitive to Canadians. We have an enormous amount of… Canadians wintering here in Florida,” he said. “That language is comfort language.”

I call bull. With respect to the 36 visa waiver countries, their citizens are normally allowed to stay up to 90 days in the U.S. But they are not allowed to hold jobs or to overstay the period.

Nonetheless, if a Florida law enforcement officer pulls over a heavily-accented Estonian Fed Ex truck driver and, in compliance with the law, asks him for his papers (c’mon, just play along), once the trucker pulls out a valid passport, he’s off the hook. Even though he’s employed by a trucking company and therefore residing illegally. Even though he may have been here for years. Florida’s law says ‘we don’t care.’

Convenient, huh? Clearly, the law was written to give cops every excuse never to bother with bothering White people in Florida, which is pretty much the only way anyone important would ever get pissed off enough to complain.

NJ Law Enforcement Appear to Contradict
Dobbs’ Version of Gunfire Incident

Interviews with the New Jersey State Police yielded a rather different assessment of the events described by Dobbs. In a phone interview conducted yesterday, Sgt. Stephen Jones, a NJ State Police spokesperson, chuckled out loud after he heard about Dobbs’ account of the gunfire incident. Jones commented that he “wouldn’t classify it [the gunfire incident] as very unusual.” He also confirmed that there are hunters in the area, and stated that, “at this time of year hunter [shooting] complaints go up.”…

Another New Jersey State Police spokesperson, Sgt. Julian Castellanos, noted that “it’s a wide open area and there are hunters in the area.” Castellanos explained that the bullet had hit the house in vicinity of the attic; it “hit the vinyl siding and fell to the ground” without penetrating the vinyl, he said…

When asked to comment for this story, Dobbs disputed the New Jersey State Police’s account, saying in an email that “there was no hunting season underway three weeks ago.” However, an official at the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife Bureau of Law Enforcement confirmed in a phone interview that state hunting seasons were underway at the time of the gunfire incident three weeks ago.

Asked what he thought of Dobbs’ version of the gunfire incident, Sgt. Jones stated, “I’m really going to leave Lou Dobbs’ assessment to himself.”
