Today and traitor history

A journalism professor from Marshall University takes to the West Virgina Gazette op-ed section and argues for gun control. The piece is a little rough but I like this bit. It’s a page right out of the conservative playbook:

Here it is. The NRA advocates armed rebellion against the duly elected government of the United States of America. That’s treason, and it’s worthy of the firing squad. The B.S. needs a serious gut check. We are not a tin pot banana republic where machine gun toting rebel groups storm the palace and depose the dictator.

Normally, I am a peaceable man, but in this case, I am willing to answer the call to defend the country. From them.

To turn the song lyric they so love to quote back on them, “We’ll put a boot in your —, it’s the American way.”

. . from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of . .ahem. You tell ’em.

Of course, you know this means war:

Professor: What America Really Needs Now Is a Violent Civil War to Kill Off the NRA
Bryan Preston | PJ Media | May 31, 2013

More honesty, this time from a Professor Christopher Swindell. But he starts his own honest heartcry with a lie.

Here it is. The NRA advocates armed rebellion against the duly elected government of the United States of America.

No, it doesn’t. The NRA advocates fidelity to the U.S. Constitution.

Good boy. Now roll over.

That’s treason, and it’s worthy of the firing squad.

If he was a professor of history, he might know that even Benedict Arnold didn’t get the firing squad.

Isn’t he adorable? The only reason we didn’t execute Benedict Arnold was because he fled to the Hudson River and hired locals to row him to the H.M.S. Vulture. Americans had only the day before captured his British co-conspirator John Andre and extracted, from the Major’s boot, Benedict’s plans to surrender West Point.

General Washington was not pleased. Andre was hanged.

Washington later dispatched a group of patriots to New York in order to abduct Benedict and return him to custody. Documents from the period do not support the contention that the Americans only wanted to talk to Arnold. And return his mixed tapes. The group nearly captured him.

After Arnold and 1600 Redcoats attacked Virginia in December of 1780, Washington dispatched the Marquis de Lafayette. His orders: Capture the traitor. Then hang him from the nearest tree. But the revolutionaries never did because, you know, they actually kinda liked the guy, cough.

They say the Dongo word for “Tea Party” is “derp”

It’s been obvious for a while: right-wingers are murdering the economy. They figure ‘low-information voters’ will become angry with circumstances, blame Obama and vote him out.

It’s a winning strategy. Most voters are stupid, they can’t figure out who’s to blame for a mess. You wait for them to go to school, you stomp their toys, and, when they come home, you point at Mom. Then you move in with the mistress. It’s a venerated tradition among Connecticut tribesmen. But if you’re going to act a treasonous shit, you ought not to warn everybody about it.

really her

The Tea Party Nation would have you know: we are that dumb. With derp und dung, foot-stomper Melissa Brookstone posted a multi-graf screed appended and offended by Hollywood, Socialism, Obamacare and Occupy Wall Street. Her tantrum ended with a call for a Tea Party Nation strike: small businesses must resolve never to hire anyone again . .

I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.

I hereby declare that my job creation potential is now ceased.

That was gold plated anti-Americanism. But I was blogging elsewhere, nonce, heretofore, it sailed by. Though I did wonder why they didn’t go after the majority of their members. They could have made a bigger impact targeting the real meat of the Tea Party, the White worker:

I, an American employee, part of the group responsible for the GNP of this country, hereby resolve I quit my job. If I am unemployed, I will neither entertain nor accept any employment offers.

I hereby declare that my productivity is now ceased.

That’s a proper America bashing. Between so many employers refusing to employ and workers refusing to work, America might implode. But, then, if Tea Party Nation are mostly slave angst and crocodile hugs, bunny sergeants and boomerang artillery, the thing will tank. Businesses will collapse, teabaggers will starve and die, and the collective I.Q. of a grateful nation will be buoyed.

That much seemed obvious to me. It was obvious to everyone else, apparently, as Melissa went crazy today. The numbers of people who either attacked or mocked her online prodded her to bash out a follow-up post, brimming with broken English, self admiration, ratcheting paranoia and other Tea Party currencies. You pro-America buttholes are terrorists:

It must have touched quite a nerve with the socialist left, because it raised a literal crap storm aimed at me.

I don’t blame Melissa for getting cranky. When the literal crap storm at your knees targets your head? Sucks.

But it could be a “blessing in disguise”. If they don’t manage to encourage some of their “useful idiots” to actually come and kill me, they may actually direct enough attention towards me, for people to see that I published a book earlier this year, based on the fundamental principles that we should own our own lives ( not be owned by “the collective” ) and that all adult human relationships should be consensual, things that the very philosophy of socialism is firmly against.

Any of you guys speak Dongo? That’s my guess for dialect. The claw-scratching on the linoleum, to my ear, is mysterious, but the flailing and hacking indicate fear. Someone tried to shoot her? Axially dreck enough of tension? Semper grok a book flack? This is garbled e-guck. Ever hear that Navy joke about the Dongonese and banana sandwiches? Heh, that’s a good one. Don’t mention it. Do not mention it.

But the behavior of the left during this whole inquisition they started against me a couple of days ago, only further illustrates the psychological techniques of projection that they indulge in, accusing the opposition of the very things they themselves are doing. One guy called me a “nazi ho”, when in fact the American Nazi Party ( as well as the Socialist Party ) endorsed the “Occupy Wall Street” movement this past weekend?

Alright, frankly, that’s gone too far? I have no problem condemning that sort of language? There, Melissa — is that better!

Smearing me as a “terrorist” . . “racist” for disagreeing with Obama (yawn – so old and frankly, boring by now…), and that we’re somehow all idiots because we don’t have Harvard degrees, etc… The spinning, taking out of context, smearing and lying that typifies a movement that is devoid of all reason and apparently seeks only to control and enslave all of humanity, as its grand goal.

No, you’re not the stupid type, Melissa. You’re enthusiastic. You felt our online behavior was childish, coarse and arrogant. You said it “typifies a movement that is devoid of all reason and apparently seeks only to control and enslave all of humanity . .” A simple mistake. Concatenating cascades du sparkle blunder barbecue space-time.

The greatest scandal in modern history — treason in process
By Arlen Williams

Now there’s a post title. What’s the greatest scandal in modern history, btw? Colonialism? Killed a few tens of million people.

Both of these videos are from Monday evening, April 26th. The Financial Times article is from this Sunday. They are elements of the most extensive scandal perhaps, since original sin.

While the Beck video is even much more significant than this, the point is that . . . [OOGA NOOGA BOOGA –ed.] . . is where Barack Obama and his network are driving us. It is global corporatism, i.e., Marxofascism . .

Seriously, is this anything more than Mad Libs for right-wing politics? “My brother Ricky and I walked down to the corner store to get some SOCIALISM! because my mother said she wanted to bake me SOCIALISM!!! for my birthday.”

Marxo-global-corporatism! That is rich, privately held companies in a system that abolishes such a thing. The workers control the means of production, but the owner controls the government. Oookay.

Once again, of course, Barack Obama is front and center, along with the Chicago Climate Exchange, the Joyce Foundation, George Soros, Maurice Strong, Edmund de Rothschild, the Federal Reserve, Goldman Sachs, George W. Bush’s Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, and many others. It entails global Marxofascism / global kleptocracy, with Americans being the chief victims, while a few overlords rule at, and their financiers skim off, the top. And as for Americans willingly instigating this, it is treason.

Here is a great part of their entire, one-world plan. Element by element, this beast is designed to virtually enslave, yes, the entire world. That includes the “nation” of America. That includes you.

T H E S T O R Y . .

In Soviet Union, you call it exceptionalism.

Barack Obama: Enemy Within
by Matt Barber

“[W]e will achieve our destiny to be as a shining city on a hill for all mankind to see.” – Ronald Wilson Reagan

“Our nation is chosen by God and commissioned by history to be a model to the world.” – George Walker Bush

“America does not presume to know what is best for everyone.” – Barack Hussein Obama (Insert deflating balloon effect here.)

We have a president loath to acknowledge American exceptionalism.

The exceptional Matt Barber

Exceptional Matt Barber

Indeed, the weight of the evidence suggests that our chief executive, through both word and deed and with malice aforethought, seeks to undermine – if not dismantle – that exceptionalism. At one time we properly called such activity anti-American, seditious or even – under certain circumstances – treasonous. Today we call it “progressive.”

“Yeah, that’s us.”

“It’s time for you to build air-conditioned catwalks across the desert.”

“HA, right.”

“This is . . Barack Obama.”

“WHOA! American Exceptionalism.”

” . . exactly.

“Anything else?”

Arab cigarette-smoking punks are enemies of the beloved state, comrade

By now, you’ve likely heard of the strange incident that occurred on United’s flight 663, where Arab diplomat Mohammed al-Modadi got caught sneaking a cigarette and then apparently acted like an ass.

More than 160 passengers and crew were onboard when flight attendants noticed smoke coming from the bathroom and notified federal air marshals on the plane, government sources said.

When the marshals demanded to know what he was doing, the man identified himself as a diplomat from Qatar and responded, perhaps sarcastically, “I’m trying to light my shoes on fire.”

Predictably, the right wing are a little upset about it. Well, it’s a great chance to demonstrate their instincts relative to our national defense. They don’t just want the foreigner expelled, no: they want him tried and executed for treason.

A Disgrace: Fake-Shoe Bomber Gets Off Scott-Free
Posted by: Jillian Bandes at 10:46 AM

Looks like the terrorist-poser on last night’s United flight from D.C. to Denver will get out scott-free. U.S. authorities claimed Mohammed al Modadi was on “official business” when he engaged in this despicable chicanery, so he will not be prosecuted.

This is ridiculous. Modadi’s disregard for our safety regulations and national security was so incredible that U.S. authorities should assume malintent, and immediately prosecute him as an enemy of state.

Those hysterical emphases are Bandes’, not mine. Did we read that right — she wants him charged and prosecuted as a Soviet-style “enemy of state”? Yeah.

There is no “enemy of the state” law in the United States, thank you. If she’s merely speaking very generally and creepily and un-Americanly, then the only alternative is that she’s speaking of treason. I’d like to see Jillian try to prosecute someone from Qatar for that. Wikipedia:

Describing individuals in this way is sometimes a manifestation of political repression. For example, an authoritarian regime may purport to maintain national security by describing social or political dissidents as “enemies of the state”.

Ah, yes, all for “national security.” Strangely, Bandes is a champion of the tactic now. It was once the sort of paranoid repression the Soviet Union was reviled for, especially by American Conservatives like her.

If anyone bothers to remember, the Soviets’ political targets were commie-speak “enemies of the people” or “enemies of the workers”:

In particular, the term “enemy of the workers” was formalized in the Article 58 (RSFSR Penal Code),[3] and similar articles in the codes of the other Soviet Republics.

At various times these terms were applied, in particular, to Tsar Nicholas II and the Imperial family, aristocrats, the bourgeoisie, clerics, business entrepreneurs, anarchists, kulaks, monarchists, Mensheviks, Esers, Bundists, Trotskyists, Bukharinists, the “old Bolsheviks”, the army and police, emigrants, saboteurs, wreckers (вредители, “vrediteli”), “social parasites” (тунеядцы, “tuneyadtsy”), Kavezhedists (people who administered and serviced the KVZhD (China Far East Railway), particularly the Russian population of Harbin, China), those considered bourgeois nationalists (notably Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian nationalists, Zionists, Basmachi), and members of certain ethnic groups (see Population transfer: Soviet Union).

An enemy of the people could be imprisoned, expelled or executed, and lose their property to confiscation.

You’ve gotta be impressed that Jillian also blew right past any pretense of a legal inquiry, forget it: “authorities should assume malintent, and immediately prosecute him as an enemy of state.” That’s exactly how it used to work.

He might not have inflicted any physical damage, but his actions were a deliberate attack on measures designed to keep us safe; he committed an act of psychological warfare . .

. . he attacked our beloved country. We’re victims now, the state needs to act, blah blah, we get it.

Al Qaeda mouthpiece Adam Gadahn, “Azzam The American”, arrested in Pakistan / CORRECTION

This is the latest indication that the Pakistanis have been hosting Al Qaeda all along. As soon as their government decided instead to fight them, suddenly *poof* they’re everywhere.

Sources: U.S.-born al-Qaida spokesman caught
Gadahn, 31, reportedly held in Pakistan; $1 million reward on his head

KARACHI, Pakistan – Adam Yahiye Gadahn, a U.S.-born spokesman for al-Qaida, has been captured in Pakistan, government sources said Sunday.

azzam the americanGadahn was arrested in recent days, two officers who took part in the operation told The Associated Press. A senior government official also confirmed the arrest. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.

An intelligence source confirmed the report to NBC News, adding that Gadahn was detained in Sohrab Goth, a suburb of Karachi, and was later moved to the capital Islamabad.

The arrest is a major victory in the U.S.-led battle against al-Qaida and will be taken as a sign that Pakistan is cooperating more fully with Washington. It follows the recent detentions of several Afghan Taliban commanders in Karachi . .

A U.S. court charged Gadahn with treason in 2006, making him the first American to face such a charge in more than 50 years. He could face the death penalty if convicted. He was also charged with two counts of providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Gadahn, 31, grew up on a goat farm in Riverside County, Calif., and converted to Islam at a mosque in nearby Orange County . .

Psychologically, this will be a bit of a blow to the wingnuts. If only the Bush Administration had pulled this off, catching the treasonous terrorist Muslim moonbat. Their reactions will have to be muted, and then they’ll have to work to disconnect Obama from it somehow . .

CORRECTION: The militant is apparently not Gadahn as was previously reported everywhere:

Now, CBS News’ Farhan Bokhari in Islamabad writes that earlier reports the detained individual was Gadahn proved false. According to a Pakistan security official who spoke with CBS News on condition of anonymity, the arrested individual is in fact “a Taliban militant leader who is known as Abu Yahya.”

Website Dawn.com had further reported that Abu Yahya and Gadahn were the same person but were also incorrect. Too bad, woulda been good news.

Newsmax’ John L. Perry warns U.S. military is coming to remove the ‘problem’ of Barack Obama / UPDATE: recovered full text of ‘seditious’ post Newsmax deleted

[…also see Crooks and Liars, Think Progress, TPM, and Salon]

I had the post, then that damn virus acted up and I lost it, then Newsmax deleted it because it’s violently insane, then I manged to skulk around the internet and recover it.

John L. Perry tackles his ‘Obama problem’ by ignoring an entire third branch of government uniquely charged with figuring out whether goings-on are ‘unconstitutional’. He merely calls out a massive military coup. What an intelligent, loyal American. What a great Conservative.

Obama Risks a Domestic Military ‘Intervention’
September 29, 2009 | John L. Perry

There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.

national guard life photoAmerica isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

-Officers swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Unlike enlisted personnel, they do not swear to “obey the orders of the president of the United States.”

-Top military officers can see the Constitution they are sworn to defend being trampled as American institutions and enterprises are nationalized.

-They can see that Americans are increasingly alarmed that this nation, under President Barack Obama, may not even be recognizable as America by the 2012 election, in which he will surely seek continuation in office.

-They can see that the economy — ravaged by deficits, taxes, unemployment, and impending inflation — is financially reliant on foreign lender governments.

-They can see this president waging undeclared war on the intelligence community, without whose rigorous and independent functions the armed services are rendered blind in an ever-more hostile world overseas and at home.

-They can see the dismantling of defenses against missiles targeted at this nation by avowed enemies, even as America’s troop strength is allowed to sag.

-They can see the horror of major warfare erupting simultaneously in two, and possibly three, far-flung theaters before America can react in time.

-They can see the nation’s safety and their own military establishments and honor placed in jeopardy as never before.

So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do?

Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistan’s arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam?
